COVID-19 Update

Update 4/07/2020

We posted the following on our website and repeat it here to help get the word out that we are OPEN! We're all in this together and thank you for your efforts to help "flatten the curve!"

As an essential business, Wilcox Electric remains open for business.  We will always be available for electrical EMERGENCIES.

We appreciate the gravity of the coronavirus pandemic and will abide by the directive on 3/30/2020 from Maryland Governor Larry Hogan. He specifically instructs essential businesses to scale back their operations.  Accordingly, in occupied homes, Wilcox Electric will limit the types of electrical work that we perform until the current restrictions are lifted.

We encourage you to let us know about your non-emergency projects via the link provided here or by phone.  Our office staff are taking phone calls, from the office and also while working from home.  We would be so pleased to speak with you about your electrical needs, and would hope to schedule your work soon.

Our Public Health Safety Precautions

For your safety and ours, we will continue to adhere to the CDC’s social distancing and personal hygiene guidelines.  There are additional precautions that we would like to introduce:

1. Our electricians are now wearing face masks, as newly recommended by the CDC.
2. Prior to the electrician’s arrival for a service call, we are asking that customers clean and disinfect counter surfaces, switches and receptacles in the areas in which the electricians would need to work.  We would also ask that personal belongings and furniture be moved away from these areas.
